Great terrace by the seaside.
Perfect location in the village, right by the seafront, beautiful setting, friendly and clean, far enough from the noise of central village
It was a very modern hotel. Many hotels in Neum are not. I found reception to be very helpful and indeed concerned about an inaccuracy I had made in my travel arrangements.
Everything was fine.
a great hotel in a superb location, beautiful views, very clean , great meals.
It has an own beach. Beautiful view from the balconies to the sea. close to the center. Very nice place.
Have to pay for the sunbed and umbrella even if you stay in the hotel. The price of room doesn't include it.
The location next to the sea and the balcony with a sea view. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. The exception was the abrupt greeting we had on arrival from a man who we later discovered was the owner. Car parking on site was appreciated.
The decor is out of date compared with the standard of the other five hotels we stayed at during this holiday. Although described as an apartment, it was impossible to prepare a cooked meal as the kitchen area is inadequately equipped.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Villa Nova. Tereza, Vestna, Tomo and all staff where so helpful and friendly. The dinners were superb and they took special care to ensure that I had delicious vegetarian meals. We will defiantely stay there again and will be recommending it to all our friends. Hvala to all at Villa Nova and hope to see you again next year.
For an "on the way" hotel it was excellent.Their dinner menu is recommended and the private swimming area made the stay worth while.
Location of it.
You don't get what you pay for (reservation does not means for the hotel owner enything, he will give to you hat he thinks is right).
Very nice location with a terrace and a view on the sea and the islands. It was great to have breakfast and dinner outside, looking at the sea. Both were served as buffet and perfect with enough choice and freshness. The room was very big and the bathroom as well. Quiet location.
Maybe a little more veggies for breakfast.
The location and access to sea was as good as possible for seaside holiday. The room was a clean and well-designed one.
One of the hotel facilities was not enough for the stayers who reserved a single room (dining facilities). To take my dinner, they showed me a place which was separate from the others. Because of that, I prefered to leave the hotel earlier than expected. Some of the staff (I.E. the waiters) would also learn English better for international communication. This hotel would be a good choice especially for the local families, but certainly not for international single travellers.
Excellent location for those who like swimming in the sea. You have to enter the sea like you enter a swimming pool, through metalic stairs. Not crowded, since the access to sea is not for small kids. Very nice restaurant near the sea, with excellent food for dinner and good breakfast. Parking lot available in front of hotel. Free wi-fi conection to Internet. Very friendly, nice lady at the reception!
Expensive hotel considering that it ranked as three star. You have to pay extra for Breakfast, a bit unusual these days. They don't have Credit card reader, so you must have cash when you check-out. The closest ATM is 20-25 min one-way walk from the hotel, since the hotel is quite far from Neum centre. My room was very small, suitable for a Single person, but they advertised and priced it as a Double, perhaps considering that bed was big. A glass of red wine wasn't included in the dinner's menu, so I had to pay for it almost the price of a bottle and it was really bad.
This was an unexpected gem when traveling through Bosnia, our apartment was large and spacious with french doors leading onto a private terrace with the most beautiful, amazing views of the Adriatic Sea and Neum.. We opted for half board, the breakfasts were tasty and the evening meals gourmet with a wide variety for a boutique hotel. The hotel and terrace gardens were immaculately maintained. Our apartment was 10-12 steps down to a private beach which was a great thrill for our three children. The French seem to have discovered this little hot spot. It is very good value for money, you would pay a lot more for a similar hotel in France, Italy or Australia. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer.
It's in a really nice location and the rooms are very nice and clean. We liked the restaurant staff very much. It really is a beautiful clean place in a prime location.
Few things that we didn't like: the fact that breakfast was not included in the price since the price was a bit higher comparing to others. Price of the breakfast was a bit high but the dinner was fairly priced so it kind of balances out if you do both in a day but not if you just do breakfast. We also didn't like having to pay extra for wi-fi, chairs and umbrellas so we just didn't use any of those services but really for the price those should have been included.
This is a family owned hotel right by the water. We got a lovely reception from Diana, one of the daughters, and she was very helpful the whole time. The rooms are comfortable and have a fridge that you have full use of, and nice balconies overlooking the sea. The terrace and stairways are tastefully decorated by this plant loving family. The hotel serves excellent homecooked buffet food at a decent price. One night when there were only two couples for dinner, they let us choose what to cook.
It's a little hard to get to and from on foot. They charge extra for things like deck chairs and parasols, and in some cases for wireless internet (not for us, though, having booked through Booked.net). Being there out of season, you might be informed that the restaurant will not be open for lunch or dinner and you have to go somewhere else, which means a bit of a walk and paying more if you want to eat as good as in the hotel. We stayed six days, and this happened to us once.
